Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Bodle (“we”, “us”, “Bodle TV”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use bodle.tv, our reseller panel, and connected TV and mobile applications.
1. Who we are
Bodle provides software and platform services that enable resellers and end users to configure and access IPTV-style experiences on supported devices. We are a technology provider — not a broadcaster, content host, or playlist supplier.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use Bodle TV, we may collect:
- Reseller account information — such as name, email address, login credentials, and account settings needed to operate the reseller panel.
- Device activation data — such as activation codes, device identifiers, platform type, and binding status required to deliver configured service to a device.
- Configuration data you submit — including playlist URLs, portal addresses, usernames, passwords, and related credentials entered by you or your reseller to make the service work on a device.
- Usage and technical data — such as IP address, browser or app version, timestamps, and diagnostic logs used to operate, secure, and improve the platform.
- Support communications — information you send when contacting us for help.
3. How we use information
We use collected information to:
- Authenticate users and activate devices;
- Store and apply the configuration you provide (including playlist and portal settings);
- Deliver, maintain, and improve the Bodle TV platform;
- Monitor security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot technical issues;
- Respond to support requests and communicate about the service.
We do not use your playlist URLs or stream credentials for advertising purposes.
4. Playlist and credential data
Playlist URLs, portal logins, and related credentials are stored so Bodle can deliver the experience you configure. You control what you submit. Bodle does not create, source, verify, or endorse any playlist, stream, or third-party content. You and your reseller are responsible for ensuring you have the right to access and use any content or streams you configure.
5. We do not sell personal data
Bodle does not sell your personal information. We do not share personal data with third parties for their own marketing.
6. Third-party services
Bodle may rely on infrastructure providers (such as hosting, databases, and content delivery) to operate the platform. When you configure external playlist or streaming providers, your device or our systems may communicate directly with those third parties according to the URLs and credentials you supply. Those providers have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
On the bodle.tv marketing site and reseller panel, we may use essential cookies or similar technologies for session management, security, and basic site functionality. We do not use advertising cookies on the marketing site. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may affect login and panel features.
8. Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Configuration data may be deleted when you or your reseller removes a profile, portal, or device binding, subject to reasonable backup and audit retention periods.
9. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us at privacy@bodle.tv. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Reseller-managed end-user data may need to be handled through your reseller where applicable.
11. Children
Bodle TV is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact privacy@bodle.tv.
12. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our hosting providers operate. We take reasonable steps to protect data in line with this policy.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy where permitted by law.
